Conduit Pipe Using HDPE
Oxford Plastics manufactures conduit pipe
for housing, protecting and covering sensitive electrical cabling and wiring. Our conduit pipe offers exceptional protection for wires in exposed locations, such as along the outer surface of a wall or trench. Manufactured with a perfect
blend of properties, our conduit pipe is designed to handle the aggressive
methods of installation such as direct plowing and directional drilling
while at the same time capable of providing long term protection
in a buried environment.

What to look for
in Conduit Pipe
Choosing the right conduit often means a choice between flexible and rigid conduit. Flexible plastic conduit can range in size from 1" (25mm) to 6" (150mm) and can be used in locations where rigid, nonflexible conduit is hard to install. Flexible conduit is also easier to work with leading to much lower costs of handling and installation. Our conduit pipe is lightweight and flexible allowing it to be delivered in continuous lengths on reels or coils. Long lengths of conduit pipe reduce the need for mechanical connections and the labor related costs inherent to other types of conduit. Hdpe conduit also has excellent impact and crush resistance providing the needed protection for buried cables during construction and after burial.
Advantages of Hdpe Conduit Pipe
With its high performance and material
characteristics, our conduit pipe provides buried electrical
wiring and cabling the necessary security and protection they need against random
construction, harsh and highly pressured environments. We provide
conduit on reels and in coils for convenient installation. We can
also provide continuous lengths customized to meet your specific
construction needs. Sequential foot markings can be provided for
easier installation. Our electrical conduit offers:
- High tensile strength to handle being buried underground.
- Long lasting strength for increased life and performance
- Lower installation costs
- Resistance to corrosive chemicals and aggressive soils
- Moisture proof and watertight when fusion welded
- No biological growth
- Low resistance to pulled-in cable
- Color coding for easy identification
Applications of Hdpe Conduit Pipe
Whether your specifications call for plowing, open trench,
directional boring or being pulled through existing conduit, Oxford
Plastics manufactures conduit pipe
for a variety of nonpressure applications with utility, communication,
CATV, or power wire and cable.
